108 soapy nuts

This bag of 108 Soap nuts (320 g of Himalayan Soap nut shells) is enough for a whole month of clothes washing (for a home where you wash a full load in the washing machine and a full bucket wash of clothes daily). For others it may last from anywhere between 1.5 to even 2 months.

Soapnuts are highly-effective and gentle at the same time. It will leave your laundry fresh and clean and compared to other detergents, its mildness will keep colours bright, maintaining fabric structure of your clothes for longer periods. It can be used on all fabrics and at all temperatures. It is a 100% substitute to normal detergents.

The bag is made out of waste fabric and also acts as your soap nut dispenser. It comes filled with 108 nuts and a Nut Pouch. You fill this pouch with the required nuts and then put into your washing machine or bucket. (Make sure you tie this pouch tightly so that no soapnuts escape into the drum of your machine).

The refill pack is to allow you to save on packaging. You can get the next 108 nuts in a paper bag – which you can shred and put into a composter.

You can buy extra Nut Pouches in case your original one is torn or you want two pouches.

The Hand Scrubber is a product that allows you to simulate the "bar soap" need. Collars need scrubbing, underwear and socks need some attention – so you use this product to do the needful. Made by craftspeople, it is a locally produced product.
