Service Plans

Composting at home could take some getting used to, but Daily Dump’s Service Team is there, to help you.
You could either sign up for a Service Plan or call us when you feel the need.

We find that some customers are hesitant to begin by themselves and need some support to fall back on, which is why the service plans are flexible and you can choose from 3 options.
(These are usually 6 monthly plans)

Weekly

a visit once a week -
24 visits over 6 months

Fortnightly

a visit once in 15 days -
12 visits over 6 months

Monthly

a visit once in a month -
6 visits over 6 months

The service plans cover stirring each unit, cleaning the composters, troubleshooting and sieving the done compost.
It does not cover painting or re-painting of pots.

Crisis Visit

After working with customers we find that some customers just want a “crisis visit”. They reach a state in their
composting process where typically

  • They develop too many maggots.

  • Their compost becomes too wet and soggy and starts smelling.

  • They generate a huge volume of waste and their composter has no space left.

  • Their pots have broken or a part has broken.

  • They just need to be reassured.

Crisis-Option

the one-off visit (whenever you need)
The crisis-option cover stirring each unit, cleaning the composters and troubleshooting.
It does not cover sieving of done compost.

Demonstrations

We charge a nominal fee for each demonstration in case we need to do the demo in your premises. This covers our transportation costs and some bit of our time. We bring some products, brochures and a presentation to tell our story.

Alternatively, we have school children, housewives, gardeners and families visit our office to see a live demonstration of our composting set up.

Waste Audit / Solutions

We offer consultancy on how to deal with different waste issues in your home and office. We can set up an audit process and then provide the option that suits your needs.

Sieving Compost

Sieving is covered in the regular service plans.

The crisis visit does not cover sieving the "done compost". You should call Daily Dump for a special visit if you want our personnel to sieve your compost for you.

Painting of Pots

Painting of pots is not covered in any plan – you need to call us for a special visit
in case you want your terracotta composters painted or repainted.

Buy Back Compost

If you produce too much compost and don’t know what to do with it, we can buy it back at our rates that we offer based on the quality of the compost.
The condition is that you should have produced it in our composters and it should meet our quality checks.

You always WIN!

If you decide never to use the composter again - we will buy it back from you at 20% less than you paid. The conditions that apply to this offer are:

You should have bought the composter originally from us and not our clone.
(please retain your invoice copy)

Your composter must not be broken

You have to deliver it to our office, we will not come and pick it up.

Start Again Service

Some customers have given up mid-way.

So our offer is that if you have stopped for some reason and want to begin and have a composter at home we will come and help you restart FREE of charge.

You don't need to pay for our one "boot strap" visit. We will come and help you begin, clarify your doubts, bring you some dried leaves - all free!
