Action > Apathy
Over 84,120 families use Daily Dump composters and show that individual action matters.
Over 100,000 people reached through Daily Dump workshops, talks, films and the website.
Our products allow them to create nutrient rich compost without having to fill in forms, or pay a bribe and make them proud of their individual action. The Daily Dump Composters are a simple direct innovation to help all of us do just this.
In India our unplanned urban explosion brings with it problems of many kinds, volumes of waste to be managed is just one of them.
Unseen in our ordinary lives is the world of municipal bureaucracy, waste contracts, corruption, inefficient systems of operation and lack of political will. Any technological or large innovation often fails in the context of the politics surrounding waste.
At Daily Dump we were very aware that if we wanted to enable ordinary people, we would need a solution that circumvents this "city waste system".
Our products and services are designed to empower our customers move from apathy to take action, make a difference, create cleaner healthier cities, feel happy and enjoy the experience.
Our customers love us for our innovation, the lifetime support we provide and the chance to see the world afresh!

Dear Madam ,
This is just to inform you that we have used the first batch of compost that we made at home for our plants.
It is a great feeling to have not thrown out any wet waste outside for the past 5 months.
Bangalore, Dec 2014
I still remember the day we visited your home to buy kambha... Now I realized it's already four years!!! Kambha is doing good . we are not throwing even a single piece of wet waste to land fill. Distributed compost with colleagues and two of them bought kambha ( Ms Tejaswini from RT Nagar clone and Mr Desikan from indiranagar).
Distributed compost in our neighborhood as well, hoping people will go for kambha.
Except lid nothing has been replaced kambha. Each pot gets cleaning and drying every 4 months and painting from out side every year.
Will share four years old kambha pictures ( with fresh painting) once I reach home.
Thanks for reminding birthday of our family's favorite kambha.
Its been a very enriching and exciting experience, composting at home specially since my 3.5 yr old daughter joins me in everyday chores of throwing the kitchen waste in the khamba, putting the dry mix and then sweeping the maggots who have run out of the pot back in the pot.
There have been some challenges of managing these maggots and soldier flies who run out of the bins and manage to crawl in our bedroom but we are learning to like them and restrict their movement.
It is fun and yes we do have our first compost ready to be used in our balcony vegetable garden. The most enriching experience though has been showing this whole experience to my maid. She must have thought I was a crackpot doing weird stuff by dumping garbage everyday in my own balcony! But that look on her face when I showed her the ready compost was priceless. She couldn't believe her eyes! Now she's the one who ensures all waste is segregated and thrown properly.
So...a big Thank you to daily dump for showing us this alternate way of garbage disposal.
Thanks for the details. We have started the composting process and pretty exited to see the results soon.
We have also started terrace gardening where we plan to make use of the compost.
Hope to spread your good work/initiative in our neighborhood.
